Volunteering at the Soup Kitchen
Posted Wednesday, December 17, 2008
We encourage our staff to volunteer. 6 employees last month volunteered their lunch break to help out at the local soup kitchen. Management was kind enough to buy the volunteers a pizza lunch first so that they didn’t have to show up hungry as well. David N. and Lisa R. were our MVP’s as they were quicker than the rest to dish out food. Kudos to the team: David N., Lisa R., Mike J. Rick G., Doug V. and Michelle S.
Cutting Down On Paper Consumption
Posted Wednesday, December 17, 2008
On January 2008, we decided to cut down on our paper consumption by not printing unnecessary documents and emails. We also encourage our clients to think twice before they do so as well. It has almost been one year of this new initiative and compared to last year we have saved over 150 blocks of paper and almost $500 in cost. Good job team! We saved at least a few trees this year. Thanks for the stats, Dave (from accounting)!
