MakeGood was honoured to be selected as one of seven promising BC startups to demo their product at Launch Party Vancouver yesterday at The Landing (375 Water Street). There were over 300 attendees that comprised of entrepreneurs, investors, high-tech peeps and those who like to be in the know.
The 7 companies each got a round table to demo and pitch their product to the steady flow of attendees. The overall response to MakeGood, as usual, was very positive. We love getting feedback.
Other companies that were also featured along with MakeGood: Tynt, Muutu, Letsgofordinner.com, Wantsa, Protagonize and Foodista.
Launch Party is the brainchild of two high profile and well-respected local hi-tech entrepreneurs, Maura Rodgers and Danny Robinson. Maura Rodgers is an enthusiastic promoter of Vancouver’s technology sector and she is also the cofounder and VP of Marketing for Strutta, a company that helps customers run online competitions. Danny Robinson is a highly successful entrepreneur behind a company called BootUp Labs that works with early stage ventures and is also the CEO of Strutta.
