This past Thursday Rick was out at the second stop of the Massive Tech Show in Toronto. Much like the event in Vancouver, it is composed of 2 major parts, the trade show and the speaker series. Rick was one of the 2 keynote speakers at the event, giving a great speech about the wisdom of the crowds and how to apply crowdsourcing practically.
Rick spoke from his book “e-Preneur: From Wall Street to Wiki” and on how social media and crowd power can change your business.
From the April 1, Vancouver show, Lindsay Smith, CEO, Massive Tech Show commented that ”The 2009 Massive Technology Show didn’t disappoint despite the tough economic conditions. Over 1200 people attended, representing over 900 small and medium sized businesses. The latest in business technologies were showcased including smart technology interactive touch screens, power conserving software to save thousands of dollars over the year (Powersave by Faronics), and behavioral targeting trends by Yahoo! Canada.”
Big thanks to all the attendees at the event- we cant wait to see everyone next year!
